This play was a break through for me to write
\ncombining many factors of my personal experience
\nand yet being a complete work of fiction.<\/p>\n

Warning\u00a0 – this play is difficult to read<\/p>\n

There were not too many people who were able
\nto understand the script, which takes place in
\na rehearsal studio and involves each actor
\nplaying ‘themselves’ and the character in the play.<\/p>\n

Decima Francis, ex-National Theatre Director, liked
\nthe play and has always wanted to promote it.
\nShe directed two separate productions in Cambridge,
\nMass.<\/p>\n

The play began as a commission from the Women’s Project in Manhattan, New York Citythanks to Julia Miles who was never afraid of tackling big issues.<\/p>\n

Part of the play, which is about female circumcision
\nwas commissioned by Julia Miles of the Womens’
\nProject, NYC. and was performed at her theatre.<\/p>\n
